Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 300 gms paneer, cottage cheese


  • 10 nos garlic cloves chopped


  • 2 nos green chillies chopped


  • 3/4 cups fresh coriander leaves chopped


  • 2 nos onions chopped


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp paneer masala


  • 1 cups curd


  • 1 tbsp fresh cream /malai


  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1/2 cups cream

Directions

  • Cut paneer into 1 inch cubes and then halve them into triangles.
  • Heat oil in a pan and Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and mix.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, paneer masala and red chilli powder and mix well. Add coriander leaves and 1/2 cup water and mix well.
  • Add salt and yogurt and mix well .
  • When the mixture comes to a boil, add paneer pieces and mix gently. Add garam masala powder, lemon juice and mix lightly.
  • Add cream and switch off the heat.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati/lachha paranthas or naan
